Where we get help to heal our bodies needs to be spaces that we love being in.
The project balances practicality with an inviting, wellness-focused atmosphere.
While the design had to be functional, it also needed to be calming for this physical therapy practice specializing in Pilates and therapy for runners. The design emphasizes an open, airy layout with distinct zones for reception, therapy, and recovery. Two private rooms for pilates therapy on one side with a quiet, plant-filled serene environment, contrast with an open, turf and rubber-mat exercise zone for runners. Taking advantage of the large windows for plenty of natural light throughout every space, the use of natural materials and space for plants enhances relaxation and focus.
I own and run a small design-build company and with my own architectural background, I often don't need an Architect. Following a project where we needed one, I look to work with Damon any chance I get. I find the collaboration with Damon results in both the design and construction phases of our projects being so much better.
